Why is the Park District updating its Master Plan?
Plainfield Park District is approaching the end of its 2021 - 2025 comprehensive master plan and is seeking to understand how residents view and use the park and recreation offerings and to assess its current offerings and resources, what is functioning well and what can be improved. This information will be used to help the park district prioritize additional improvements over the next 10 years.
Who can contribute to the plan?
Everyone! Residents, stakeholders, and employees can attend the community meeting and complete the online survey. We thank you for your input!

Your responses will remain anonymous and will be grouped accordingly with all other solicited responses collected during the Connect Phase. These responses will be used to develop the strategies that will guide future actions.
When will the Master Plan be completed?
The plan is scheduled to be published by early 2026. Check this site and the Park District website for additional information as the plan is developed.
